- Don’t laugh at each other when we make mistakes
Teacher’s expectations of the students:
- Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe
- Try your best every day
- When you don’t understand, ask
- Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, it’s a great way to learn!
- Work silently during independent work
- Work quietly during group work
- Don’t talk while a teacher or student is talking to the class
- Ask before leaving the room
- Be great role models of behaviour and attitude throughout the school
- Use kind words including “please” and “thank you”
- Be prepared
- Do your very best to be a good friend, student, classmate and person
Students’ expectations of their teacher:
- Support the students
- When students don’t understand, help them
- Prepare the class as much as possible for learning
- Encourage students to do things they think they can’t do
- Give students challenges
- Be fair
